I am here now for almost a month. I left with my father and all my things in a van from Amsterdam. The evening before I left I went for dinner and drinks with Astrid, Eefje, Marjolein, Shanna, Johannes en Sebastiaan for As' birthday, which was now kidnapped by me as my farewell party. In the pub I met one of Fiona's colleagues from the bookshop in Edinburgh. On the day of leaving I went to the premier of Nanouk Leopold's   'Guernsey' which has now won two dutch film awards, one for best director and the other for best actress. After that we dropped my mum off at Ruigoord, an Artist village were they had an open studio day, on the way to the ferry. On board we met acquaintances, which already knew we were taking the trip. They had met somebody at Ruigoord that very day, who had told them. It was a very relaxed journey with good food and nice fellow
