had come over for the occasion from Glasgow. But we hardly talked to Astrid that night, as she invited so many friends. These days its just like an audience with the Queen to meet her, you’re lucky if you get five minutes at her table.
Than Liam, Fiona’s five year old nephew, came for a sleep over for two nights. It was very nice but tiring and expensive. We went to the swimming-pool, the museum, the playground and the Cinema. All those bus and train journeys to get to these places, plus collecting him and

bringing him back, and all the different food and sweets, cost a lot of money.
The weekend after we travelled up to the North-East again, to the
beautiful home of Kelly and her husband Steve:
